URF works with a number of colleges and universities around the around to engage young people in community development efforts. Through a variety of past and present partnerships, URF inspires a spirit of solidarity and intercultural understanding. We continue to seek out partnerships with schools. Building a chicken coop- Building a pig pen
- Design and installation of a ground water system and rainwater catchment systems at three schools
- Facilitating business skills training
- Design and installation of solar energy systems for two schools and an orphanage
- Facilitating medical camps in villages
- Training village health workers
- Raising funds for construction of the Hope Academy classrooms
- Facilitating youth leadership camps
- Conducting research on the impact of the village banking program
