Living, Christine, and Sharon (sisters and brother)
We are Ninsaba Living, Kyalisima Christine and Kyarikunda Sharon and we are brother and sisters and are orphans. We live with our grandmother and we do not go to primary school because we don’t money, but we study at the after school program. We although hope to attend school like all the other children but in the mean time we will not sit at home to wait until that happens. We love Uganda rural Fund because it looks after us and my grandmother.

Madinah Nalwanga, 24
I am Madinah, 24 years, a teacher and a member of the women’s empowerment project. One of the best decisions I have made in life was to join this project and I am proud to be a member. Through this project I have been able to boost my income from making baskets, get loans to boost my small business, acquire skills through seminars and take care of my 3 children. I also volunteer to teach women in the Adult Literacy classes, I believe that teaching my fellow members is a way of empowering them to be better people than they are now and to bring change to their lives as they acquire education. Thank you to all our dear supporters.

four exams and hope to go to senior five. I have two brothers and one sister. My brother heads our family because we do not have parents but that does not mean our world has ended and we are not happy. We have people who love and care about us and who have helped us pay for our education, buy us land and build us a lovely house and help us to farm for food. Those people are called Uganda Rural Fund. We are grateful to you and we love you.

Florence Nakawuuki, 15
My name is Nakawuuki Florence, age 15 and am in senior one at Hope Integrated Academy. When I finished primary school, my father informed me that I could not go to secondary school because he could not afford to pay for me anymore. But as one of the URF staff was doing their routine outreaches because my mum is a member of the women’s project, I talked to her and

asked whether I could attend secondary school as my parents looked for the money. I was allowed to attend and I also filled in the sponsorship application form. God helped me and I got someone to pay my school fees. I am now a very happy student because I know I can attend school and I want to be a teacher. Thanks URF and THANK you my sponsor!

Samuel Kabugo
My name is Kabugo Samuel and I am a member of the Men’s Project. Through this project, I have been able to get a pig and get loans that I use to buy more seeds and fertilizers for my garden. Thank you for changing my life and for my family.

I am Norah, age 55, and a member of the women’s empowerment project and the village bank program. I was able to get a loan from the village bank and constructed a house. I would like to thank URF for this wonderful project otherwise my house was falling and I had nowhere to get money. I have already repaid my loan.

Silver Mukalazi, 19
I am Mukalazi Sliver, age 19. I have just completed my ordinary levels (grade 11). I would like to thank URF for having introduced the sponsorship program because I had no hope of ever going to back school again or ever completing my ordinary levels but through this program, I was able to do so. I am now hoping to go to advanced level and come back to help other children out of school with no help.
