Run 4 Kyetume

Run with us, get involved!

Back in 2012, Rodrigo volunteered for a summer in Uganda with Uganda Rural Fund. After experiencing the magnificent work Uganda Rural Fund is developing, he realized he had to help in any way possible. Up until there, Rodrigo had always been interested in running, but never thought about more than 10Km distances.

Then he realized, what if, together with his Spanish colleagues Javier and Rafa, they launched a challenge to spread URF word? What could be challenging enough to encourage both people and companies to participate economically with raising funds to support the education of children in rural Uganda?

Running one marathon a year in a different city for 10 consecutive years? Sounded insane at first, but challenging enough… Off we go!

This is how Run 4 Kyetume project started back in 2013.

Madrid 2013, Lisbon 2014, Paris 2015, Rome 2016… Now we are facing our 5th marathon heading up north to Stockholm, Sweden the next 3rd of June 2017.
