Jerinah’s Story & Her Desire for Education – Will You Help Her?

Jerinah Natulinde, 16, was separated from her parents at age 3. Her mother was suffering from a severe mental illness and since then Jerinah has never seen her again. She never got to know her father either and has since passed away. Jerinah was taken in by a relative who after elementary school could not afford to educate her anymore. She was then picked up by a local family in the village to give her a home as she attends Hope Academy. Jerinah is a humble and hardworking girl looking for a generous sponsor to give her a gift of an education to help her realize her big dreams in life. She is currently in form three (Grade 10). Jerinah is a very dedicated and high driven student.

Jerinah needs $300 a year for her schooling. This paid in installments of $100 for each of three trimesters in the academic year. You can make a check to Uganda Rural Fund and mail to 475 Main Street, West Springfield, MA 01089. Or email jmlugemwa@ugandaruralfund.org for more details.
