U.S. Ambassador to Uganda meets with URF Staff and Volunteers
On January 07th, URF staff along with five student volunteers from the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University had the honor of meeting with Mr. Scott H. DeLisi, the U.S. Ambassador to Uganda for a chat at the embassy. They discussed issues of youth empowerment, volunteerism and the impact of URF projects in the community. We hope and pray the Ambassador will one day make a visit to URF to see firsthand the great work we do.

Some volunteers from my home state of Minnesota (and Wisconsin) who are working with Hope Academy and the Uganda Rural Fund. Trying to build opportunities for Uganda’s youth. So proud of my fellow citizens who give their time, skills, and energy to make a difference.
