Care for Orphans
New house URF built for the kids below in the tent
One of the main aims of URF is to light up the plight of orphan children in rural communities. Uganda has close to an estimated 2.0 million orphans most of who lost parents to HIV/AIDS. Unfortunately, the region served by URF is one of the most hit by this epidemic in the country.
URF cares for orphans through support of the child-headed family household with basics needs, housing renovations, and education. You can read more about each program by following the drop down menu under care for orphans.
