The power of art to enhance children’s learning

Art has the power to teach, be an expression of emotions, and a medium for social, cultural and political activism. At URF, we believe that art can be a transforming force in the lives of children as it ignites creativity and sparks learning. We promote arts education both in and outside of the classroom both at Hope Junior School and Hope Academy on our campus.

At the youth camp in 2017, volunteered joined the students at Hope Junior School on arts projects for several days. As a result, we have beautiful art pieces displayed in all the classrooms. Some of the art is used as teaching aid helping the children to visualize what they are learning.
